The Certificate Program is for the serious gardeners, as well as, those who just want to know more than gardening basics. To earn the certificate, you must attend all six classes, but individual classes may be taken if desired. (Classes will be repeated in 2013 in the event that you must miss one.) If you’ve ever attended a class that David has taught, you know you’re in for a memorable experience! David has a wealth of knowledge and is able to convey his subject with infectious enthusiasm. Be entertained while you learn!

Fashion you own unique planting container from peat moss, perlite and Portland cement. Bring a basket with a defined structure to get the best results. The basket may have to be sacrificed when un-molding the planter so don’t bring a prized heirloom!

Wire Wrapped Stone Cabochon - May 17

Diana Traver of Exotic Gemmery will teach you how to create a pendent of your own! A cabochon (from the French word caboche or head), is a gemstone which has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted. Chain not included.

Bring your soil to test! Soil testing will be done while you wait. For a small fee of $5.00, you may bring up to three different samples. Soil remediation strategies will be suggested based on the findings. Proceeds from the soil testing benefit the Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Erie County
