Welcome Spring at the Botanical Gardens with Events for All Ages!

Buffalo, NY - With spring rapidly approaching, the Botanical Gardens has planned many fun activities to be enjoyed by all. Starting on March 15, the spring season will kick off with Taste of Paradise from 6pm-9pm. From March 16 through April 7, the annual Spring Flower Show will be held from 10am-5pm daily and will include special appearances from Farmer Brown’s Animals, the Easter Bunny on select dates and Dress Your Easter Best contest March 29-31. Following this long-awaited show is the popular Easter Egg Hunt on March 30.

Taste of Paradise is a tropical garden celebration designed to get you in the mood for spring with a sneak preview of the Spring Flower Show. A tropical themed event, Taste of Paradise is a chance to escape the cold temperatures, wear your tropical gear and soak up spring! Tickets include crisp, fresh garden cocktail samples from ONE ROQ Vodka, tropical drinks from Seagram’s Escapes Coolers, ice cold beer from Dundee Ale and Lager and tastes of herbs, fruits and savory delights from Oliver’s, Lucarelli’s, Curly’s, Ilio DiPaolo’s, Obviously Avi Catering and Quaker Bonnet.

Taste of Paradise is made possible by the generous support of M&T Bank, ONE ROQ Vodka, Local Edge, Buffalo Spree, Star 102.5, Backyard Party Supply, Seagram’s Escapes Coolers and Dundee Ale & Lager. Tickets for Taste of Paradise are $25 for Garden Members, $28 for Non-Members and $30 after March 6. Purchase tickets online.

The Spring Flower Show will be bursting with vibrant colors and fragrances! This popular show welcomes spring with greenhouses full of beautiful spring flowers including tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, hydrangeas, primroses, crocuses and so much more. Make sure you join the family fun with Farmer Brown’s Animals and visit chicks, lambs, pigs, a donkey, goats and more! The animal barn will be open from 10am-4pm daily during the Spring Flower Show and the Easter Bunny will visit on March 16, 17, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31 from 10am-5pm. The Dress Your Easter Best contest encourages guests to celebrate spring tradition and wear a beautiful Easter Bonnet or Easter Tie to the Botanical Gardens. The Easter Bunny’s helper will choose winners throughout the day and winners will receive a prize!

The Spring Flower Show, Farmer Brown’s Animals, visits with the Easter Bunny and Dress Your Easter Best Contest is made possible by the generous support of M&T Bank, Local Edge, Buffalo Spree, Star 102.5 and Wendy’s. All these events are included with Spring Flower Show admission - $9 Adults, $8 Seniors (55+) & Students (13+ with ID), $5 Kids 3-12, Garden Members and kids under 3 are Free!

The Easter Egg hunt will take place on March 30 and children ages six and under are eligible to participate in the hunt. Each Hunter will collect two eggs to exchange for a great prize! After the Hunt, all Hunters are admitted free to the Gardens the entire day! Inside they can enjoy fun activities including a scavenger hunt, games, Farmer Brown’s animals, prizes and more! Pre-registration is required for this activity because it does sell out quickly. Registration is $6 for Garden member’s children/grandchildren, $8 for non-member’s children/grandchildren and $10 for everyone after March 17. Register early online.
