This eye-catcher is the darkest of the tall garden phlox. Medium green foliage with large flower clusters of glowing deep magenta-purple appear nearly all summer long. Sweetly fragrant blooms attract butterflies and hummingbirds. A staple in the garden, with masses of star-shaped flowers blanketing the plant for weeks.
Best in rich, moist soil in full sun. Deadhead to prolong blooming. This variety has good mildew resistance, but ensure ample air circulation around the plants. Excellent cut flower.
