Ken Brown visits the Gardens on October 6!

Erin Grajek

I am so excited about Ken Brown’s presentation at the BBG on Saturday, October 6, at 1:30. For those of you who aren’t familiar with who Ken Brown is, he’s been doing a gardening show on WBEN radio on Saturdays at 11 am for the past 22 years. His show is a call in Q&A on gardening which is always interesting and informative.

Ken also operates the Dreams End Christmas tree farm in Holland. Many of us go every year to cut our tree and have a family outing. He also was past Educator at the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Put all these experiences together and Ken has a wealth of experience and knowledge.

He’s going to share that knowledge with us 10/6 in his program Things Gardeners should Know but Don’t. His presentation is filled with helpful information to make our gardening more successful. One of his main points is that soil quality is the key to growing any plant. To find out how to improve your soil and many other garden tips come hear his presentation in October.
