Still Growing: Expressions of Nature
by Judith Kosinski
May 3 - June 25
Arcangel Gallery Exhibit
Included with Admission
As an artist and art educator, Judith Kosinski has always loved learning about, experimenting with, and teaching different ways of expression through art. In this exhibit, Judy has played with different media, different methods, different marks, etc. all bringing her back to what she loves best – growing herself through her creative work. Her floral paintings are not all literal interpretations of what she sees, but instead interpretations of some of what she feels when she sees. “For me, there is great wonder in taking this joyful and timeless subject of flowers, and stretching myself artistically to express what I see and feel in many different ways. I am so inspired by the color, textures, wildness and creativity of nature”, comments Judy.
Meet our Arcangel Gallery artist and Botanical Gardens Art Educator, Judith Kosinski!
Judith has been creating ever since she can remember and has been teaching all she knows about art and creativity for more than 25 years! She is passionate about all aspects of artmaking and truly loves to help other artists create and grow their skills.

Her passion for painting and drawing is infused in her teaching: “Helping artists find and strengthen their own artistic voice is such an important and rewarding practice” commented Judy, “And teaching with the Botanical Gardens is a wonderful partnership -- I love working with students in this incredibly rich environment filled with natural inspiration!” Judy works in a variety of media herself, with a particular love for watercolor, oil and mixed media.
