This striking perennial produces fully double, scarlet red flowers from late spring through midsummer. Regular deadheading will encourage continued blooming. Fuzzy green foliage forms an attractive mound at the base of the flower stems. Tall, sturdy flower stems make these blooms ideal for cut flowers. Geums should be divided frequently, about every 2-3 years, as young and newly divided plants bloom longer and stronger than older plants.
