ARTNERS: a fellowship of Art Educators from across Western New York who come together through art, education and creativity.
This exhibit brings together the work of 13 art educators who seek daily to inspire and broaden artistic skills and creativity in Western New York students from Pre-K through College. Together they explored the theme of nature and all it holds to demonstrate the many different ways our natural surroundings can be described visually. This exhibit is visually exciting as these artists use an intriguing variety of methods, and work with many different media. In the words of one of the exhibiting artists “It is fascinating to take the same basic subject as my colleagues ~ nature~ breathe it in together, let it simmer and grow, and then see in my work and in their work the incredibly different interpretations and myriad of ways to truly see and visually express nature…”
