Meet your instructor, David O’Donnell!
The Eastern Monarch Butterfly and Native Plant Farm (EMBF), founded in Clarence, NY, in 1999 by David O’Donnell, is dedicated to environmental advocacy. A self-taught naturalist, David has devoted his life to educating the public and restoring native flora and fauna. Through partnerships with various environmental organizations across Western New York, he has worked to provide vital resources and education for the restoration of Monarch Butterflies and their habitats in the region. Coexisting with nature and protecting the environment are among the most urgent challenges we face. A clean, biodiverse, and thriving ecosystem is fundamental to the survival of human civilization.
