Drop-In Journaling Workshop with the Buffalo Urban League!

Join us for a special activity during Unwind Wednesdays!
Practice various journaling techniques and build your mental health toolkit through hands-on group and individual activities. Write, reflect, and chat with a Community Wellness Specialist and find your serenity in the Botanical Gardens!
With activities like free-writing, list making, reporting & habit tracking, group & one-on-one discussion, this Drop-In Journaling Workshop will be an evening filled with mindfulness and relaxation. Activities are best for ages 14+ but all ages are welcome. Activities will be available upon arrival; the Community Wellness Specialist from the Buffalo Urban League will guide participants through the activity that interests them most. More support is available through the COMHPS program at Buffalo Urban League. The Drop-In Journaling Workshop is included with regular admission to Unwind Wednesdays.
Unwind Wednesdays
We all know that the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day lives can be stressful and tiring, which is exactly why we’re inviting you to join us for Unwind Wednesdays! Join us on the fourth Wednesday of each month as we stay open late until 8pm to give you the opportunity to unplug in a quiet oasis. Read a book, write a journal entry, listen to music, sketch, meditate, or just rest in the peaceful embrace of our conservatory.
In addition to these late hours, we’re also sending savings your way; admission on Unwind Wednesdays is only $10 all day long from 10am-8pm! Limited seating will be available for you to plant yourself wherever you’d like inside the greenhouses. This “middle of the week” break is a perfect way to unwind and retreat from reality.
