Animals in Art
by Sue Hurley
March 8 - April 30
Included with Admission

This exhibit is a mélange of watercolor painting, oil painting, and charcoal/ graphite sketches. All depict animal life, wild and domestic.

About the Artist: Suann is a retired mail carrier from Buffalo NY who has always had a love for our animal friends. She started out drawing in charcoal early in her life. Her love of painting came later after retirement as a postal carrier when she took her first watercolor lessons at this Botanical Gardens with the talented Joan Saba. She has mainly focused on watercolor paintings of birds, but this year has crossed over to oil painting all animal life. Her love of animals extends throughout her artwork. There’s really no rhyme or reason as to which subjects she paints, just certain furry or feathered friends seem to call out to be immortalized.
