Tulips are a beautiful sign of spring and what better way to celebrate than to join us in painting them in watercolor! Deanna Weinholtz will guide you through drawing tulips to create your own composition, using a very easy method. She will then demonstrate techniques that will help you paint these gorgeous, vibrant flowers in watercolor. Add your own creativity and paint your flowers in the colors you choose. Admission to the Botanical Gardens and time to explore the conservatory after class is included.  

This class is suitable for adult artists of all levels and abilities.  

Masks -Updated February 28, 2022: Masks are not required but are strongly recommended for all visitors, staff, and volunteers.

Meet your instructor, Deanna Weinholtz!
Deanna Weinholtz is a watermedia artist from Western New York who is best known for her luminous landscapes and seascapes in watercolor and acrylics. Her creations have won national and regional awards and have been displayed in numerous exhibitions and galleries. A graduate of State University College at Buffalo with a degree in design, Deanna is a working professional fine artist. She shares her knowledge and love of painting through teaching and demos online, as well as in classroom. Deanna is an Exhibiting member of Buffalo Society of Artists where she is past Exhibitions Chair and served on the Board of Directors, a Signature Member in Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society where she is past Exhibitions Co-Chair and served on the Board of Directors, an Exhibiting Member of Pittsburgh Watercolor Society and is an Associate Member of Philadelphia Watercolor Society. www.deannaweinholtz.com
