GWA: The Association of Garden Communicators

GWA: The Association for Garden Communicators Conference & Expo is coming to Buffalo August 4-8.  Each year, hundreds of professionals from across the country attend the largest gathering of garden writers, bloggers, photographers, speakers and industry thought-leaders in the country, the GWA Annual Conference & Expo.

The conference includes public and private garden tours, education sessions, exhibit hall, and events supported by GWA membership with support from collaborators in our region, including PlantWNY, Plantasia, Visit Buffalo Niagara, and Gardens Buffalo Niagara.  The Botanical Gardens will also host a cocktail reception for #GWA2017 attendees during the conference.

How can you participate in the Buffalo conference?

  1. Attend GWA Annual Conference! #GWA2017 is an excellent opportunity to learn about the association, meet its members, see incredible gardens (like the Botanical Gardens), and learn something new. Registration is now open, and the Early Bird Rate end on June 1, so take advantage and book your ticket today! http://bit.ly/2ng2vT9
  2. Join GWA. GWA is an organization of professional communicators in the green industry including book authors, bloggers, staff editors, syndicated columnists, freelance writers, photographers, speakers, landscape designers, television and radio personalities, consultants, publishers, extension service agents and more. 3. Meet the Authors: Friday, August 4, 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Buffalo Convention Center. The public is invited to this free event, offering the opportunity to mingle with many authors from across the U.S. who will have books on hand to show, sell, and sign.
