Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens announces the start of their annual Travel Raffle. The Travel Raffle will offer three prizes; the grand prize is a dream vacation of the winner’s choosing, the second prize is a relaxing getaway to the Sterling Inn & Spa in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and third prize is a two-day vacation to Ellicottville. Travel Raffle tickets are $20 each and are available June 3 through September 3, 2019.
The grand prize winner will be able to choose their dream vacation. The winner can pick a destination such as Ireland, Mexico or the Caribbean, and go whenever it’s convenient for them! Arrangements will be made for the winner through The Travel Team Inc. The prize voucher has a maximum value of $3,000. The winner can modify their package based upon their preferences and will have one year to redeem their trip. Due to fluctuations in travel pricing, all costs incurred above $3,000 are the sole responsibility of winner.
The second place prize is a getaway to the Sterling Inn & Spa in Niagara Falls, Ontario, the only boutique hotel in Niagara Falls. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, honeymoon or a luxurious stay, away from it all. From the full-service spa to the awarding winning fine dining restaurant and AC Inspired Cuisine. The Sterling Inn & Spa strives to give each guest a perfect experience. They have won multiple CAA/AAA 4 Diamond Award for service. The prize includes an overnight stay in a Jacuzzi room, complimentary happy hour, a three-course fine dining experience for two, and breakfast in bed.
The third place prize is a mini vacation to Ellicottville, New York, one-hour south of Buffalo. Ellicottville is a vibrant four season community complete with outdoor activities in any season, ski resorts, charming shops, cafes, exciting events and so much more. The winner will enjoy a two-night stay at the Wingate by Wyndham in Ellicottville. Nestled among the mountains, the Wingate offers an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. Whether the winner is interested in winter sports or a romantic getaway, Ellicottville is a wonderful place to escape to. Also included in the prize is $150 cash to spend in Ellicottville.
Travel Raffle tickets are $20. Each ticket has three chances to win and only 700 tickets will be sold. Organizers stress purchasing tickets early because they sold out in 2018. Winning tickets will be drawn Tuesday, September 3 at the Botanical Gardens (winners need not be present). Tickets can be purchased by calling 716.827.1584 ext. 216, at the Botanical Gardens Admissions Desk, or in the Gift Shop. All proceeds benefit the Botanical Gardens. Tickets will only be sold to individuals 18 years of age and older. Tickets are not redeemable for cash, no refunds, and all winners have one year to redeem.
