Hosting a science night, environmental fair, school spirit day, or event for students, families, or the public? Let us join you for some botanical fun! Our educators will provide an exciting hands-on learning station with plants from the Botanical Gardens’ collection, biofacts, and an activity of your choice. Activities are offered year-round and are perfect for learners of all ages and abilities.

Pollinators

Learn all about the amazing pollinators you can find in your own backyard! Discover what a pollinator is, explore different types and their unique traits, and put your botanical knowledge to the test with fun activities. You can even plant and take home your own cup of native annual or perrenial seeds to help attract pollinators to your garden. Help us celebrate the vital roles these creatures play in our ecosystem!

Events up to 500 people – $150 per hour (2 hour minimum). Travel rates apply.

Ancient Plants

Join us for a fun adventure through the world of ancient plants! Explore fascinating fossils and learn about plant evolution while meeting dinosaur replicas that once roamed the Earth and ate these amazing plants. Then, get creative with our air-dry clay activity, where you can make your own “fossil” to take home.

Reservations are required for all programs. Please reserve your programs at least three weeks in advance of the desired program date.
