Flowers are so much more than their looks! In this workshop, students in third, fourth, and fifth grade will explore the important relationship between flowers and their pollinator friends. Each student will dissect an alstroemeria lily to examine the different parts of a flower and discover how different flower characteristics attract different pollinators. Students will also learn about the most famous flower at the Botanical Gardens – the corpse plant! Admission to the Botanical Gardens, as well as a self-guided scavenger hunt and time to explore our plant collections.
