Plants have managed to thrive throughout the world- even in the harshest environments! This field trip for grades three through eight explores the ways plants have adapted to survive in different places. Students will discover how plants have adapted to rainforests and deserts while planting a succulent to take home. They will also take a close look at one of the most uniquely adapted plants in the world– carnivorous plants! Admission to the Botanical Gardens, as well as a self-guided scavenger hunt and time to explore our plant collections are included.
