The 2018 Gala at the Gardens is Planned for September 21

Andy Grinsfelder

Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens announced their annual Gala at the Gardens will take place on Friday, September 21 starting at 6:00pm. The Gala will welcome over 400 dedicated supporters to raise funds for the Botanical Gardens.

Co-Chairs, Arleen Hollas and Dianne Sippel, along with the Gala Committee have planned a memorable affair with a few special surprises.  Honorary chairs Richard and Jane Griffin will welcome guests for an evening to celebrate coming together at the Botanical Gardens.

Guests will delight in the Botanical Gardens’ indoor and outdoor gardens while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and sipping cocktails with friends. The evening’s emcee, Maryalice Demler from WGRZ-TV, Channel 2 News, will set the stage for this magical evening.  Dinner, catered by Oliver’s, will be served under an enchanted tent in front of the Botanical Gardens.  A live auction, hosted by Kevin O’Connell will keep guests bidding on spectacular auction packages to raise funds to support the Botanical Gardens’ important mission.  Then, a meaningful Mission Moment auction will highlight the Botanical Gardens’ educational programs. This auction will raise funds to provide FREE Hands-On Educational Programs for students in grades K-8 in the Buffalo Public and Charter Schools and Lackawanna Public and Charter Schools.

The Gala at the Gardens is sponsored by Moog Inc. Individual tickets are $175 and sponsorships range from $1,400 up to $10,000.  Program ads are also available for $150 up to $450.
