Ceremonies

Our vibrant plant collections and historic conservatory provide an ideal environment for a wedding ceremony in any season. The Botanical Gardens offers indoor and outdoor event spaces filled with thousands of lush plants. It also features a larger-than-life, historic conservatory with glass-domed ceilings nearly 70 feet high. There is no venue like it in Buffalo.

Indoor and Outdoor Ceremonies

Our indoor greenhouse is a gorgeous glass conservatory that creates picture-perfect lighting and the feeling of being outside. In good weather, take advantage of our stunning courtyard with a unique view of our iconic Palm Dome. All of our ceremony spaces accommodate up to 120 seated guests.

Ceremony & Receptions

Reserve our entire conservatory exclusively for your reception, with or without a ceremony, and see your dream event come true. Our team will help design a timeline and a layout to create a natural flow that best uses our 20,000-square-foot historic glass greenhouse. Thanks to the Botanical Gardens’ flexibility and beauty, you can even host your ceremony and reception in one place. 

Our special Reception-only and Ceremony + Reception packages provide you and your guests with a one-of-a-kind event experience. 

  • Use the stunning 20,000-square-foot conservatory for four hours (minimum). Additional time is available for a fee.
  • Rely on an experienced event coordinator to support you from start to finish, plus a full team of pros to help on the big day.
  • Collaborate with our pros on a personalized (and customizable) timeline and layout for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.

All receptions and evening rentals can seat up to 120 guests. Larger parties are possible if seating is not required. Please ask our team about your options.
