Brighten your artistic skills in our Watercolor Sunflower Class! This course is designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike, focusing on capturing the vibrant beauty of sunflowers. You’ll learn fundamental techniques for painting the bold petals, intricate details, and rich textures of sunflowers. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, you’ll create stunning floral artwork while practicing essential watercolor skills. Paint, paper, and sunflower specimens will be available for use.

Meet your instructor, Janet Nye Vedder!
Janet Nye Vedder is a graphic artist, product illustrator, and art educator. She holds a B.S. and Masters Degrees in Art Education. Now retired, after teaching art for over twenty years, she is currently enjoying teaching online and in-person art classes in Galleries and Art Centers throughout New York State. Also, Janet is a Roycroft Campus Artist-in-Residence and founder of the Roycroft Campus Art and Fiber Group. In her spare time Janet enjoys creating art, fly fishing, and walking her two dogs, Scout and Harriet.
