Western New York’s favorite holiday tradition is finally here, and it’s bigger and better than ever before! With the holidays comes the Botanical Gardens’ annual Poinsettia Exhibit. Step into the warm embrace of our tropical conservatory, filled to the brim with brilliant poinsettias of all sizes and colors. Allow the vibrant reds, magentas, pinks, yellows, and oranges to fill your heart with joy. This celebration of the season is sure to brighten your mood, and keep you warm, as you explore our carefully curated collection of pretty poinsettias.
Meet the one and only Santa Claus
Do your little ones want to hand-deliver their letters to Santa this year? Are you looking for the perfect place to take your family photos for this year’s holiday card? Join us on Friday, November 29, and Saturday, November 30, to meet the one and only Santa Claus! Complete a festival scavenger hunt as you explore our beautiful Poinsettia Exhibit, the picture-perfect backdrop for your photos with Santa. Make sure you’re on your best behavior during your visit to stay on the nice list.
This year, Santa will be visiting the Botanical Gardens on two different days at two different times. On November 29, visit Mr. C during Gardens After Dark from 5pm-9pm. Then, on November 30, Santa will return during the day from 10am-2pm. Take your own free photos with Santa, this experience is included with admission.

Are your holiday decorations not quite cutting it anymore? Looking for a fresh pop of color to bring the holiday spirit home with you? Look no further than our Conifer Wreath Workshop! Learn how to create a fragrant conifer wreath, the perfect festive addition to your holiday decorations. Everything needed to make your unique wreath is included your ticket to this fan-favorite holiday event, but we invite you to bring your own ornaments and small decorations to really make your creation feel like your own. If Poinsettias After Dark sounds like the perfect date night idea with your special someone, we invite you to our Thurs-Date Nights! Grab a glass of wine and put on your holiday best for an evening of plants, lights, drinks, charcuterie and chocolate for the ultimate wintertime date night. Tickets include a glass of beer or wine from The Bubble Bar, light-fare from The Grazeful Gatherer, and a sweet treat from Dark Forest Chocolate to end the evening! These romantic evenings of food, flowers, and fun will be held on December 12 and 19 from 6-9pm. Pre-purchased tickets are required, so don’t miss your opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable night out this holiday season.
