May 21 - Extraordinary Pollinators
Learn about why pollinators are so important to the environment and our food supply. Recreate the lifecycle of a butterfly and bring home a bird feeder to attract birds to your garden.
June 18 - Desert Adventures
Explore the ways that plants have learned to survive in the desert while visiting the cacti collection at the Gardens! Taste fruit from the desert, craft some fabulous desert creations, and take home your very own desert plant!
October 15 - Spooky Celebration
Come join us for a celebration of all things creepy and crawly here at the Gardens! Learn about some spooky plants while making some edible Venus flytraps and spider webs to take home. Then, enjoy some Halloween treats. Feel free to show off your costume!
November 19 - Harvest Time
Visit the Gardens to learn all about the autumn harvest season! Create some fun fall crafts while munching on a special harvest treat and learning how various cultures celebrate this time of year.
December - 10 Santa’s Workshop
Come join us for a visit with Santa and some fun holiday themed activities! Santa will only be visiting during the hours of Santa’s Workshop-he has quite a few places to visit after spending the day surrounded by poinsettias and his friends at the Gardens! Photo prints with Santa will be available for $5 each. Come join us for this annual family holiday tradition.
May 22 & October 23
11am-1pm - Kids 5-12 will enjoy these Sunday hands-on activities free with admission to the Gardens. Activities will be held in the Wegmans Family Garden and are taught by volunteer Docents.
Providing a safe learning environment for children is important. All activities are peanut-allergy friendly.
