Dining in restaurants can be tricky and being able to completely relax when eating out is challenging. The Botanical Gardens offers a great way to have the best of both worlds - to eat out and relax on your own terms.
Every Thursday from 4-7pm Llyod's Taco Truck, Fat Bob's Smokehouse and Community Beer Works will be parked out front of the Botanical Gardens for everyone to enjoy. Bring a blanket or utilize their vastly distanced tables and chairs to enjoy your takeout.
I have to say... this is a huge improvement from grabbing a taco in a parking lot!
You can enjoy the vast open space in front of the Botanical Gardens with grass beneath your feet. Before or after settling in for your Tricked Out Nachos and Texas Mac N Cheese, you can also visit the amazing Botanical Gardens for a very reasonable admission fee.
Keep in mind that the Botanical Gardens will close for a bit between 3-4pm in August and from 4-4:30pm in September for cleaning before they reopen until 7pm each night. I love that they do this... trying to keep everything as clean and safe as possible for everyone!
Seriously, this is a very low pressure experience, extremely easy to distance yourself from others and truly relax. I was also thinking... this would be an amazing first date outing to test the waters in a super casual vibe.
