A Beautiful Butterfly Field
Grab a "MOMosa" and dive into the fun as you create both a masterpiece and memories with mom! Inspiration is all around us, especially in the Botanical Gardens, which creates the perfect setting to create your own painting of a beautiful floral bouquet. Deanna Weinholtz, one of our own Botanical Gardens instructors, will guide you with acrylic paints, brushes and cotton swabs to brush, dab and drip your way through your canvas masterpiece.
Mother’s Day is an especially beautiful time to spend in the Botanical Gardens with family and friends. Find your inspiration walking through the gardens and come create your very own keepsake. No experience is necessary and all of your supplies are included, but we encourage you to bring your own apron. Other than that, just bring your excitement and be ready to learn a new skill or expand upon one you already enjoy! This class will be held inside the Botanical Gardens Administration Building.
Participants are welcome to arrive at 9:30am to mingle and enjoy your bubbly. The class will begin at 10am and will wrap up around 12pm with time for cleanup and finishing up your painting by 12:30pm. And then you're free to explore the One-Stop, Mom-Shop inside the Botanical Gardens!
