On-site at the Botanical Gardens in the Administration Building
Prepare for summer by planting your very own herb container garden. During this hands-on workshop, participants will plant a beautiful container garden with culinary herbs, perfect for backyards, patios, and even kitchen windowsills! Learn how to properly harvest and store your herbs and bring home some fun recipes too! All supplies are included.

Ellie Nunn
Ellie Nunn is a newer face around the Gardens, having joined our team in August 2022 as our new Educator and Volunteer Coordinator. After growing up nearby in Akron, NY, Ellie went on to continue her education at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Education and Interpretation. After graduating in the midst of the pandemic, she traveled and found a passion for educating people about science and the natural world in Syracuse and Colorado before moving to the city of Buffalo. Ellie has a passion for all aspects of the natural world, with special interests in prehistoric plants, birds of prey, and mycology. She is currently working on her Masters of Education part time at the University at Buffalo and enjoys cooking, painting, kayaking, climbing, and hanging out with her cats and tortoise in her free time!
